June 29 – August 2021: America’s Top Dog Season 2 continues

Don’t miss season two of America’s Top Dog’s A & Es, where professional working dogs and well-trained outsiders compete alongside their humans to see who Top Dog is.

Season two of A & Es America’s Top Dog wags in a new format of head-to-head match-ups where a puppy competes against another competitor in her class of working dogs, police K9s and “underdogs” to prove it who is best at speed and agility, teamwork and trust as dogs and their human partners tackle massive canine obstacle courses. The winners of each of the three classes go head-to-head to determine who is the top dog of the week. Each week’s winning team will receive $ 10,000 plus $ 5,000 to donate to the animal welfare organization of their choice. The winning teams return last week to compete for the America’s Top Dog and an additional $ 25,000. The award-winning experienced studio and sports broadcaster Curt Menefee and the actor and comedian David Koechner bring the action to the point for us dog lovers at home, while the side reporter Rachel Bonnetta gets going with the competing teams on the course. Dogster columnist and dog behavior expert Victoria Stilwell and the Smithsonian Channel bring you this fascinating series that all dog lovers will enjoy.

Cheers to the working dog! The Smithsonian Channel is releasing its new “furocious” five-part documentary series on June 30th at 8:00 pm. EUROPEAN SUMMER TIME. The episodes run from June 30th to July 28th and deal with detectives, protectors, partners and rescuers. As told by dog ​​behavior expert, bestselling author and Dogster columnist Victoria Stilwell. July 6: Dog Eat Dog book on sale

The Washington Area Humane Society is hosting Woofstock – Pet Party in the Park at Mingo Creek Park on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Finleyville, PA. Activities include shopping at local pet dealers, food trucks, live music, retriever raffles, pet competitions, agility classes, photo ops, and more. July 15th: Best Friends Animal Sanctuary Welcome Back Day

July 16: Turner & Hooch series premieres

Turner & Hooch is available on Disney +

July 24th: Barking in the park

Livingston County’s Bountiful Harvest is hosting Bark in the Park in downtown Brighton, Michigan from 12pm to 6pm. This family-friendly event is held outdoors so you can enjoy downtown Brighton with your dog while raising funds for the Bountiful Harvest grocery pantry. July 24-25: Pet-A-Palooza Day of the Dog
